Plastic Production Supervisor

• Supervise the activities of production workers who operate processing machines and fabricate, assemble finished products and inspect for standards.
• Supervise daily /weekly /monthly production targets to ensure they are met. 
• Monitor and maintain safety procedures and regulations in accordance with all relevant regulatory standards.
• Ensure that finished goods meet production, market and customer requirements.
• Oversee safe use of equipment and PPE devises on Production floor.
• Train and develop operators and production staff to improve their skills and knowledge.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures by production staff.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce waste.
• Produce and submit daily and weekly production reports to your line manager.
• Always ensure the cleanliness of the production floor.

Requirements:

• B.Sc. or HND in Mechanical/Chemical/Production Engineering or other relevant discipline from a recognized institution.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience, preferably in a well-structured manufacturing industry in similar capacity.
• Strong knowledge of Blow and Injection machines, and molds.
• Familiarity with industry materials (e.g., HDPE), codes, standards, utilities and machinery/equipment first aid (e.g.: Compressors, Chillers, etc.) 
• Proficiency in engineering software and maintenance management systems is an advantage.
• COREN registration or membership of relevant professional bodies is desirable.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
