Operations Manager

Responsibilities:

• Direct, optimize and coordinate full order cycle
• Direct communication/relationship with suppliers, wholesalers, and retailers 
• Arrange warehouse, catalog goods, plan routes, and process shipments
• Resolve any arising problems or complaints or escalate where need be
• Supervise, coach, and train warehouse workforce
• Meet cost, productivity, accuracy, and timeliness targets
• Maintain metrics and analyze data to assess performance and implement improvements
• Make sure stock management systems are implemented, and all key staff know and adhere to policies. Support in monitoring stock levels and advice on appropriate stocking and replenishment to meet demands.
• Ensure warehouse and stocks are secure, well managed, and documented. Improve on and ensure the accuracy of reporting and tracking databases.
• Ensure the regular rotation of stocks ensuring zero losses due to the expiration
• Oversee routine physical stock counts, document discrepancies, and report losses 
• Ensure receipt and reconciliation are done for all stocks which have been transferred from the warehouse to another warehouse location.
• Ensure management of vehicle fleets is in line with standards; ensure that appropriate allocation and safe use of vehicles is achieved and ensure servicing and maintenance schedules are adhered to.
• Ensure vehicle usage is cost-efficient and reliable. 
• Ensure the efficient coordination and timely delivery of supplies to customers.
• Review monthly Logistics reports and give feedback to all staff.

Requirements:

• Minimum academic qualification of HND/B.sc in any discipline
• Minimum 3yrs experience in leading a re-distribution operation, especially in FMCG or Telecoms in Anambra state
• The driving experience is an added advantage but not compulsory
• Deep understanding of the selling process and market dynamics.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Basic accounting knowledge 
• The preferred candidate needs to be currently located within the Nnewi axis.

 Preferred candidate location: Nnewi, Anambra State

Remuneration:NGN 80,000 while the monthly incentive of N20,000 on achievement of KPIs.
