Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Leading sales efforts within the organization, which includes driving revenue growth, managing sales teams, developing sales strategies, nurturing client relationships, and ensuring effective sales processes and performance.
- Prioritizing stakeholder needs, leading specialized team development overseeing metrics achievement, and supporting team performance.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to establish and execute business development strategies congruent with company objectives, encompassing market expansion, client attraction, and revenue growth.
- Craft persuasive business proposals and presentations for potential clients while taking the lead in negotiations, pricing discussions, and contract talks to achieve mutually beneficial terms.
- Monitor and report essential business development KPIs, including lead generation, conversion rates, and revenue growth, while consistently providing senior management with updates on progress, achievements, and challenges.
Requirements:
- Candidate must have consistently managed an Annual financial portfolio minimum of NGN 750,000,000 in the IT space.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in business development, sales, or related roles within the IT industry.
- Proven ability to build, develop, and manage strong client relations, and build on trust and integrity.
- Proven track record of successfully identifying, negotiating, and closing high-value business deals.
- Strong understanding of market dynamics, customer needs, and industry trends.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to travel for client meetings, conferences, and industry events as needed.
