Customer Service & Reception:

Greet and assist customers with laundry orders, answer inquiries, and address complaints or concerns.
Handle check-ins and check-outs for laundry services, including tagging and recording items dropped off.
Explain services offered, pricing, and delivery times to customers in person and over the phone.
Manage phone calls, emails, and other customer communication efficiently and professionally.
Maintain an organized and clean front desk and reception area.

Order Processing:

Sort, tag, and prepare laundry items for washing and dry cleaning, ensuring proper care instructions are followed.
Assist with folding, ironing, and packing clothes for customer pick-up or delivery.
Keep track of customer orders using the business’s tracking or point-of-sale (POS) system, ensuring all orders are processed correctly and on time.
Check items for quality control before returning them to the customer, ensuring there is no damage or missing items.

Cash Handling & Financial Duties:

Manage transactions using the POS system, including processing payments (cash, credit card, etc.) and issuing receipts.
Keep accurate records of daily sales and prepare end-of-day financial reports.
Maintain a petty cash register for small expenses and ensure funds are appropriately recorded.

Inventory & Supplies:

Assist in tracking and managing inventory for laundry supplies, including detergents, fabric softeners, and packaging materials.
Notify the manager when supplies need to be replenished.

Team Support:

Assist the laundry team in peak periods with loading/unloading machines, folding, and other tasks as needed.
Ensure that the work environment is clean, organized, and complies with health and safety standards.
Develop and implement sales strategies to meet revenue targets and increase profitability.
