Kitchen Assistant

Responsibilities:

• Washing pots, pans, dishes, and utensils; cleaning food service areas, ovens, and workstations; and removing waste to maintain hygiene standards.
• Washing, peeling, chopping, and cutting vegetables, fruits, and meat.
• Unloading, checking, rotating, and storing food deliveries and inventory.
• Following all health and safety regulations, including food safety and sanitation protocols.
• Assisting chefs and cooks during service hours to ensure timely food preparation and delivery. 

Requirements:

• Minimum HND.
• Ability to stand for long periods, work in a fast-paced, hot environment, and lift heavy items.
• 2 years of previous experience in a similar role.
• Ability to communicate and cooperate with kitchen staff.
• Ensuring high standards of sanitation.
• Willingness to work shifts, including weekends and evenings.
