Job summary

Magida Gardens is seeking a smart, professional, and customer-focused Hotel and Lounge Assistant to support daily operations across the hotel, lounge, and event areas. The successful candidate will be responsible for guest reception, lounge service support, maintaining cleanliness and presentation standards.

Job descriptions & requirements

Responsibilities:

Front Desk & Hotel Support:

  • Welcome guests warmly and professionally
  • Assist with guest check-in and check-out processes
  • Handle guest inquiries, bookings, and complaints politely
  • Ensure all bills are settled before guests leave the premises
  • Confirm payments with a supervisor before departure


Lounge & Bar Support:

  • Assist with serving food and drinks
  • Maintain the cleanliness of the lounge and seating areas
  • Monitor guest comfort and respond promptly to requests
  • Ensure no staff requests personal payments from guests
  • Support lounge setup and closing procedures


Event & Venue Support:

  • Assist with event preparation and basic setup
  • Ensure event areas remain clean and organized
  • Report damages or issues immediately
  • Support coordination during busy periods


Customer Service:

  • Maintain a friendly and welcoming attitude at all times
  • Represent Magida Gardens professionally
  • Resolve minor guest concerns and escalate major issues
  • Uphold company policies at all times


Requirements:

  • Minimum of SSCE qualification
  • Previous hospitality or customer service experience preferred
  • Good communication skills
  • Smart appearance and well-presented
  • Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Honest, reliable, and punctual
  • Team player with positive attitude
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Basic computer knowledge (for bookings)
  • Ability to multitask
  • Problem-solving ability
  • Good attention to detail


Behavioral Expectations:

  • No drinking alcohol while on duty
  • No requesting tips or payments directly from customers
  • All tips must be placed in the designated tip jar
  • No payments into personal accounts
  • Maintain professional conduct at all times
