Head of Operations

The ideal candidate will ensure seamless execution of creative projects: on time, within budget, and at the Red Lantan standard, while aligning creative, client management, and production teams for operational excellence.
Job descriptions & requirements
Responsibilities:
- Audit and refine existing production processes, from client onboarding and pre-production to final delivery and archiving.
- Oversee the scheduling of internal staff (editors, cinematographers, producers) and manage an extensive database of freelancers and vendors.
- Monitor all active projects to ensure they hit milestones, managing the creative traffic to prevent bottlenecks.
- Oversee production budgets, manage operational costs, and work with the finance team to ensure project profitability.
- Ensure our world-class equipment and studio assets are maintained, insured, and effectively deployed for shoots.
- Act as the final point of quality control and operational contact for key accounts, ensuring that the Red Lantan "experience" is felt at every touchpoint.
- Assist the CEO/Founder in scaling the agency’s operations as we expand into new markets and larger-scale productions.
Requirements:
- You have 4-5 years of experience in operations or senior project management within a creative agency, production house, or media firm.
- You understand the “Lagos shoot” reality. You know the difference between RED and Arri, the time it takes for high-end color grading, and how to manage the chaos of field logistics.
- You are obsessed with productivity tools that help you better manage your people, operations and workflows. You don’t just use spreadsheets; you build systems that save time and ensure productivity.
- You can manage high-pressure deadlines and creative personalities with diplomacy and firm decision-making.
- BSc in any field (we value your street-smart operational record over certificates).
Why Apply?
- Work with an agency that is genuinely shifting the visual culture in Nigeria and Africa.
- Join a young, high-energy team that values bold creativity and rewards excellence.
- Remuneration: N6,000,000 - N9,6000,000 (annual gross) + performance-based bonus at the end of every financial year
- 13th-month allowance
