The business manager will take full ownership of operations, team performance, and revenue growth. This is not an administrative role; we require a hands-on, execution-focused professional with proven experience building systems within an SME and delivering measurable business results.

Responsibilities:
- Operations Management: Oversee scheduling, service delivery, supply chain, and quality control across all client sites
- Team Leadership: Manage mid-level managers and supervise field supervisors and cleaning staff; improve staff discipline, retention, and performance
- Business Development: Identify and onboard new clients, prepare quotations, close deals, and manage client relationships to grow revenue
- Financial Oversight: Monitor job costing, control operational expenses, ensure profitability per contract, and prepare monthly P&L reports
- Systems & Process Improvement: Develop SOPs, digitize workflows, and implement tools to improve operational efficiency and service quality
- Problem Solving: Proactively resolve client complaints, operational bottlenecks, and workforce challenges
- Client Engagement: Attend meetings with client management (including locations outside Lagos where required)
- Reporting: Present monthly performance reports and provide insights into overall business health and growth opportunities
Requirements:
- A minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience managing operations within an SME (facility management/cleaning industry experience is a strong advantage)
- HND/BSc in Business Administration, Management, or a related field (MBA is an added advantage)
- Candidates must also have a minimum of 3 years of industry operations experience with clear evidence of leadership responsibilities, even if not in a formal managerial title
- Demonstrated ability to build, improve, or scale business operations
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills; must be highly execution-driven and data-oriented
- High integrity, strong work ethic, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment

Remuneration: NGN 500 Monthly Net
Location: Must reside within Lekki, Ajah, Ikoyi, or Victoria Island due to proximity to the Chevron axis
