Business Development & Sales Officer
Job summary
We are seeking a disciplined, proactive, and results-driven business development & sales officer to support the growth and operational structure of the company. This is a hybrid role. Approximately 80% of the role focuses on revenue generation and client acquisition. 20% supports internal operations, company structure, and ensuring professional execution of meetings and engagements with clients. This individual will work directly with the founder and play a key role in building both revenue and internal structure. This is not a routine administrative role. It is a performance-based position requiring ownership and accountability.

Responsibilities:
Revenue Generation (Primary Focus – 80%):
- Identify and research qualified prospects (corporates, institutions, founders, executives)
- Conduct structured outreach via calls, email, referrals, and networking
- Present company services confidently and professionally
- Book consultations and secure meetings
- Follow up consistently and convert prospects into paying clients
- Build and maintain a structured sales pipeline
- Achieve monthly revenue targets.
- Track and report all outreach, conversion, and activities.
- Revenue performance is a key metric for this role.
Internal Structure & Operational Support (20%):
- Assist in organizing company records and documentation
- Maintain proper client tracking systems
- Support the structure of proposals and agreements
- Ensure internal documentation is well-structured and accessible
- Contribute to building basic operational processes as the company grows.
Client Meeting & Experience Coordination:
- During client visits and engagements, the officer will:
- Ensure meeting space is professionally organise,
- Coordinate client experience
- Prepare documents and materials in advance
- Support smooth meeting flow from beginning to end.
- Handle follow-up communication post-meeting
- The objective is to ensure a seamless and professional client experience at all times.
Requirements:
- 2–4 years of experience in sales or business development
- Demonstrated ability to close deals
- Strong communication, networking, and negotiation skills
- Organized, detail-oriented, and disciplined
- Professional appearance and conduct
- Comfortable engaging senior decision-makers

Performance Review:
- Monthly performance tracking

- Initial 3-month probation period with possibility of growth.
- Confirmation of employment is subject to satisfactory performance.
Remuneration: NGN 150,000 Monthly
Benefits Structure:
- Commission on revenue generated and successfully collected.
- Total earnings are performance-dependent.
