Seth Corporate Logistics Limited is seeking a strategic and high-performing business development manager to drive expansion across our global footprint. With over two decades of excellence and physical hubs in Nigeria, Dubai, and the UK, we provide end-to-end logistics solutions for the world’s most demanding industries. As the BDM, you will be the face of the company to Tier-1 corporate clients. You will leverage your deep industry networks in oil and gas, FMCG, and telecommunications to secure long-term partnerships and design bespoke global logistics frameworks.
Job descriptions & requirements
- Strategic Portfolio Growth: Identify and close high-value logistics contracts with multinational corporations requiring multi-modal (sea, air, and land) global movement.
- Sector Expertise: Develop and execute tailored market entry and expansion strategies specifically for the oil and gas (upstream/downstream), FMCG (supply chain), and communications sectors.
- Relationship Architect: Manage the full sales lifecycle, from cold outreach to C-suite negotiations and long-term account retention.
- Cross-Border Collaboration: Work closely with our Dubai and UK offices to ensure seamless service delivery for clients with international trade routes.
- Market Intelligence: Monitor global shipping trends, regulatory changes in the Nigeria/UAE/UK corridors, and competitor activity to keep Seth Corporate Logistics ahead of the curve.
- Tender Management: Lead the preparation of technical and commercial bids for major corporate and government tenders.
- A minimum of 5 years in business development or account management within the global logistics/freight forwarding industry.
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, business administration, or a related field (an MBA or professional certifications like CILT are a major plus).
- A proven "rolodex" of active contacts within the Nigerian and international oil & gas or FMCG space.
- Strong understanding of international Incoterms, customs regulations in Nigeria (NCAL/SONCAP), and logistics hubs in the Middle East and Europe.
- Exceptional boardroom-level presentation and negotiation skills.

Remuneration: NGN 800,000
