As Head of Growth, your sphere of influence is everything from branding and marketing, to business development. You should be someone who is fully committed to changing how African businesses work.

Job Description/Requirements

Requirements:

The ideal candidate is someone who has:

  • A bachelor's degree in business operations, or a related field
  • 4 years or more in business operations
  • Entrepreneurial and startup experience beneficial
  • Strong strategic thinking skills
  • Proven marketing campaign experience
  • Strong copywriting skills
  • Strong people management skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, written and verbal.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify the need for new staff members and manage the recruitment process
  • Identify, establish and maintain relationships with new and existing clients
  • Identify, establish and maintain relationships with new and existing pipelines for consultants (for example academic institutions)
  • Drive conceptualisation of programmes and events
  • Oversee the execution of programmes in line with our client’s strategy
  • Proactively identify potential programme partners and build strategic relationships
  • Compose and maintain the annual publication schedule of our client 
  • Pitch publication opportunities to potential partners and sponsors
  • Supervise structured client outreach activities
  • Ensure standardised implementation of the lead conversion process
  • Oversee the innovation and standardisation of service portfolio  
  • Initiate the development of new growth initiatives  
  • Continuously help improve our clients’ five-year vision 
  • Help with internal and external projects and document creation when necessary
  • Drive the circulation of our client’s publications to generate traction for them
  • Publish frameworks generated by our client’s team on specific topics
  • Compose monthly newsletters and collaborate with the talent team for circulation
  • Welcome new consultants to the network
  • Compose and maintain the annual publication schedule of our client
  • Pitch publication opportunities to potential partners and sponsors
  • Run relevant events every 4-6 weeks
