Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
Financial Data Entry and Analysis:
- Assist in the preparation and analysis of financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Perform data entry tasks to input financial transactions into accounting software accurately.
- Conduct basic financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
Transaction Support:
- Provide support for transactional activities such as accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll processing.
- Assist in reconciling financial transactions and resolving discrepancies as needed.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate processing of transactions.
Financial Documentation and Record-keeping:
- Maintain organized and up-to-date financial records, including invoices, receipts, and expense reports.
- Assist in preparing documentation for audits, reviews, and compliance requirements.
- Ensure adherence to internal controls and financial policies and procedures.
Financial System Support:
- Assist in the implementation and maintenance of financial systems and software.
- Provide user support and troubleshooting assistance for financial software applications.
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of financial systems and workflows.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or related field.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and perform basic financial analysis.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial software applications.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.Â
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and willingness to learn and take on new responsibilities.
Remuneration: NGN 200,000 – 250,000
