Job Summary

As a Finance and Transaction Support Services Associate, you will play a key role in supporting the finance team and transactional activities within the organization. Job Description/Requirements

Responsibilities:

Financial Data Entry and Analysis:

  • Assist in the preparation and analysis of financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Perform data entry tasks to input financial transactions into accounting software accurately.
  • Conduct basic financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.

Transaction Support:

  • Provide support for transactional activities such as accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll processing.
  • Assist in reconciling financial transactions and resolving discrepancies as needed.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate processing of transactions.

Financial Documentation and Record-keeping:

  • Maintain organized and up-to-date financial records, including invoices, receipts, and expense reports.
  • Assist in preparing documentation for audits, reviews, and compliance requirements.
  • Ensure adherence to internal controls and financial policies and procedures.

Financial System Support:

  • Assist in the implementation and maintenance of financial systems and software.
  • Provide user support and troubleshooting assistance for financial software applications.
  • Contribute to process improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of financial systems and workflows.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or related field.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and perform basic financial analysis.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial software applications.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. 
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and willingness to learn and take on new responsibilities.


Remuneration: NGN
200,000 – 250,000
