We are looking to hire a suitable candidate to oversea operations activities of the Branch.

  • Minimum Qualification: Degree
  • Experience Level: Executive level
  • Experience Length: 10 years

Job Description/Requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure that all units have the necessary tools to work effectively.
  • Ensure all Operations staff is abreast of the Bank’s policies and procedures.
  • Ensure that all customers’ requests are treated promptly.
  • Ensure all staff attends to customers promptly and are always courteous.
  • Supervise Operations activities (cash, customer service and funds transfer) to ensure timely and efficient service delivery to customers
  • Implement budget and cost control measures for the Bank
  • Provide and monitor all expense lines.
  • Render statutory returns to appropriate regulatory bodies.
  • Ensure   proper   documentation for   all   transactions   and authorize transactions within approval limits.
  • Oversee account opening process and certify complete documentation and prompt scanning of account mandates as well as tracking/follow-up on deferred documents.
  • Ensure adherence to vault cash insurance limit.
  • Handling Bank’s correspondence with other banks to ensure excellence service.
  • Rendition of correspondence Bank’s statement to ensure correct postings
  • Ensure vault physical cash is equal to ledger at the close of each day.
  • Ensure vault is always shut and cash secured as stipulated.
  • Supervise the handling of accounts & clearing functions.
  • Oversee the activities of E-BUSINESS under customer service; Online Banking, issuance, blocking/unblocking of the different card products.
  • Provide and keep timely and accurate reports (Bank’s and regulatory agencies) on Branch Operations in prescribed formats and intervals.
  • Ensure   maintenance   of   appropriate   confidentiality   and security of customer and transactional information and safety
  • Monitor the financial targets of team members.
  • Ambiance of the Banking Hall.
  • Ensure team spirit.
  • Troubleshooting and resolving operations issues and conflicts.


Competency:

  • Knowledge of a Mortgage Bank’s operations/services/products.
  • Knowledge of a Mortgage Bank’s policies and procedures.
  • Knowledge of a Mortgage Bank’s sales/marketing strategy and policy.
  • Knowledge of financial service channels.
  • Knowledge of financial instruments
  • Knowledge of customer needs across different segments such as income, geography, culture, demography and markets (Market segmentation and analysis).
  • Knowledge of the retail banking market.
  • Knowledge of the banking industry.
  • Knowledge of the Mortgage Banking Industry.
  • Knowledge of Fund Transfer, payment and collection systems.
