Job descriptions & requirements
Responsibilities:
- Research and identify grant opportunities from local and international foundations, government agencies, and corporate donors.
- Draft high-quality, persuasive grant proposals, concept notes, and pitch decks for impact investors and development partners.
- Manage the grant lifecycle, including tracking deadlines, compliance requirements, and reporting on impact metrics.
- Identify and nurture relationships with strategic partners to expand Odu Foods' market reach and social impact.
- Collaborate with the operations team to align business development strategies
Requirements:
- A minimum B.Sc/HND in Business Administration, Economics, Mass Communication, or related social sciences.
- A minimum of 2-3 years of proven experience in grant writing, business development, or technical writing.
- Exceptional technical writing and storytelling skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Strong research skills and ability to analyse complex funding requirements.
- Proficiency in project management and proposal development tools.
- Excellent interpersonal skills for stakeholder engagement and partnership building.
- Strategic thinking and ability to align funding goals with business impact.
- Experience in the agriculture or food processing sector is highly preferred.
