Job descriptions & requirements
Responsibilities:
- Hire, train and supervise production staff, including sorters, loaders, balers and equipment operators.
- Scale all purchased materials.
- Keep factory machinery in good working order.
- Supervise workers on the production floor.
- Draw up work schedules, assign tasks and coordinate production activities.
- Negotiate with suppliers and vendors to get cost-effective deals.
- Allocate equipment and personnel to maintain production standards.
- Estimate production costs and find ways to reduce them.
- Evaluate staff performance and coach production teams.
- Work with the quality control team to make sure finished goods meet quality standards.
- Monitor production output and adjust processes to meet deadlines.
- Analyse production data to spot and fix production problems.
- Train production teams on safety protocols and give them the resources to follow them.
- Develop and put in place new ways to make factory operations more efficient.
- Make production decisions, including staffing and scheduling.
- Prepare production reports for senior management daily and monthly using the private platform.
Requirements:
- A minimum of an HND in a related field.
- A minimum of 1 year of experience
Remuneration: NGN 100,000 Monthly
