Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Restructure the company to a more functional, efficient one with a clear organogram outlining key responsibilities and performance indicators for management and staff
- Develop a standard operating process and manuals to govern the conduct of business and staff of the company
- Appraise key staff for their strengths and provide them with training and necessary support to deliver on their KPIs
- Identify and recruit talents for existing vacancies and appropriate placement within the organization
- Develop a succession and capacity-building plan for the organization
- Ensure that the quality of products and services is exceptional and in accordance with company standards
- Ensure and maintain staff discipline in accordance with company guidelines
- Ensure compliance with all legal, and regulatory standards and develop a framework for corporate governance of the company
- Ensure company records, books, and accounts are kept properly and up-to-date
- The General Manager within the course of his/her contract will develop an expansion and a robust business plan for the organization.
Requirements:
- Minimum academic qualification of BSc/BA in Business or relevant field; MSc/MA is a plus
- A background in the restaurant and hospitality sector
- 7 - 10 years of work experience as a General Manager or similar executive role
- Experience in planning and budgeting
- Knowledge of business processes and functions (finance, HR, procurement, operations, etc.)
- Strong analytical ability
- Excellent communication skills
- Outstanding organizational and leadership skills
- Problem-solving aptitude
