Job Summary

Dressroom seeks a hands-on General Manager in Abuja (Mon–Sat) to own P&L and lead store, warehouse, and e-commerce ops for our off-price women’s & kids’ brand. Drive inventory, merchandising/pricing, OTIF and lead times; build SOPs; hire/coach team; manage suppliers/3PLs. Bachelor’s + 4+ yrs retail/e-com ops.

Job Description/Requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Own P&L and deliver a clear 90-day & 12-month plan.
  • Run day-to-day operations across store, e-commerce, warehouse, and last-mile.
  • Drive inventory accuracy, demand planning, buying calendar, stock turns, and shrink control.
  • Improve fulfilment (pick-pack-ship), SLAs, WISMO/returns, and customer experience.
  • Hire, coach, and manage a high-performing team with clear targets and routines.
  • Build SOPs and dashboards; apply lean/continuous improvement to cut waste and costs.
  • Lead merchandising, pricing, promo calendar, and creator/partner activations for growth.
  • Manage suppliers, 3PLs, and logistics—negotiate rates and enforce OTIF standards.
  • Ensure cash control, compliance, and store standards.


Requirements:

  • 4+ years in retail/e-commerce operations or general management (fashion or FMCG is a plus).
  • Strong data and process mindset; confident with Excel/Google Sheets and basic BI.
  • Proven track record of growing revenue and improving unit economics.
  • Hands-on leader—comfortable on the shop floor and in leadership reviews.
  • Bachelor’s degree minimum.
  • Based in Abuja, able to work Mon–Sat.
  • A plus if you have experience launching/optimising e-commerce in Nigeria; POS/ERP (e.g., Odoo, Shopify/Woo); 3PL setup.


Success in your first 6 months looks like

  • Stock accuracy ≥ 98% | OTIF ≥ 95% | Shrink ≤ 1.5%
  • Order lead time ≤ 24–48 hrs (Abuja)
  • +15% AOV and +10pp repeat-purchase rate
