Job Summary
We are looking to hire an experienced and resourceful General Manager to work with our client, a leading waste and resource management company based in Lagos. The Company specializes in Environmental Management & Consultancy, Planning, Construction and operations.
- Minimum Qualification: MBA / MSc
- Experience Level: Executive level
- Experience Length: 10 years
Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Development and implementation of growth strategies
- Cultivating new clients and expanding business lines while managing existing clientele
- Organizational development and coordination of business operations
- Hiring and ensuring staff competence is developed
- Formulating policies in consultation with the CEO
- Budgetary Control and financial management
- Improving administration process
- Provide high-level oversight and technical input to ensure that project efforts are executed within scope/budget/schedule and ensure that project reports are completed according to specified standards
- Develop processes for ensuring high-quality projects delivery
- Manage client interaction and financial /
resource allocation
- Identify and develop new market opportunities, prepare effective technical proposals, and take an active leadership role in business development with new and existing clients
- Participate in all aspects of bid and proposal preparation
- Co-conduct sales presentations and informational seminars for potential clients
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a Science-Based Course and a Postgraduate degree in Business Management will be an advantage.
- Minimum of 10 years working experience, (or an equivalent combination of related education, training, and experience may be considered). 3 of which should be in a Management position.
- Experience working in a waste and resource management Organization is a must.
- Entrepreneurial spirit and vision in directing business functions, excellent ability to maintain relationships with clients, generate new business, increase staff productivity, improve service, ensure sustainability, and meet business objectives.
