French-Speaking Event Hostess
Job summary
This is a part-time job role that combines event hostessing and interpretation services. Your job is to ensure that French-speaking attendees feel welcomed, guided, and well-assisted throughout the event. Candidates are expected to be available for 3 days per month in April, May, June, and November 2026.
Job descriptions & requirements
Responsibilities:
- Welcome and assist Francophone delegates at the registration desk.
- Hand out badges and provide directions and guidance.
- Assist Francophone delegates with communication and interpretation during simple conversations between guests and event organizers.
- Support registration desks, information points, and VIP reception.
Requirements:
- Strong spoken and written French and English communication skills.
- Ability to interpret French into English and vice versa during conversations.
- Professional appearance and grooming
- Friendly, confident, and articulate personality
- Ability to interact with international guests
- Must undergo and pass the hostess training at the agency.
- Able to resume at 8:00 am prompt in Victoria Island.
- Available for 3 days in April, May, June, and November 2026
