E-commerce Operations Specialist

Responsibilities:

• Product Listings & Optimization: Create and upload new product listings for mobile devices/accessories with compelling descriptions, images, and keywords using the Jumia Seller Center.
• Inventory Management: Regularly update stock levels, track inventory accuracy, and coordinate with suppliers to prevent overselling.
• Order Processing: Monitor and process Jumia orders promptly, ensuring timely fulfillment and compliance with SLAs.
• Price & Promotion Management: Implement pricing strategies and configure Jumia promotional campaigns (e.g., Jumia Anniversary, Black Friday).
• Customer Engagement: Address customer inquiries and order issues professionally via Jumia’s messaging system.
• Performance Monitoring: Track store KPIs (sales, conversion rates, ratings) and propose data-driven improvements.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in e-commerce operations, preferably on Jumia Nigeria, Konga, or similar platforms.
• Proficiency in using Jumia Seller Center for product uploads, inventory, and order management.
• Strong attention to detail for managing product specs, pricing, and listings accurately.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent written English communication skills (Nigerian Pidgin acceptable for internal coordination).
• Tech-savvy with a keen interest in mobile phone products.
