We are looking for an experienced Deputy Facilities Manager to assist oversee all plaza-related activities. You will be responsible for preserving the good condition of infrastructure and ensure that facilities are safe and well functioning.

Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Support to Manager: Provide direct support to the Manager, assisting them in various tasks and decision-making processes. This may include delegating responsibilities, acting as a point of contact in the Manager's absence, and helping to implement the Manager's directives.
- Team Leadership: Assist in leading and supervising a team or department, including providing guidance, training, and motivation to team members.
- Planning and Strategy: Participate in the development and execution of strategic plans and objectives set by the Manager. Help in setting goals, priorities, and strategies.
- Project Management: Oversee specific projects or initiatives, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and in line with the organization's goals.
- Decision-Making: Support the Manager in making important decisions, including evaluating options, gathering information, and offering insights and recommendations.
- Performance Evaluation: Assist in assessing the performance of team members, providing feedback, and participating in performance appraisals.
- Budget Management: Help manage budgets, including expense planning and tracking to ensure financial targets are met.
- Resource Allocation: Assist in allocating resources (personnel, equipment, materials) effectively to meet project or departmental goals.
- Conflict Resolution: Help resolve conflicts within the team and act as a mediator between team members when disputes arise.
- Communication: Collaborate with the Manager to communicate organizational goals, changes, and expectations to team members, as well as relay feedback and concerns from the team to higher management.
- Risk Management: Participate in identifying and mitigating risks associated with projects, operations, or departmental activities.
- Adaptability: Be flexible and adaptive to changing circumstances, market conditions, and management needs.
- Compliance: Ensure that the team or department complies with company policies, industry regulations, and legal standards.
- Mentoring and Development: Support the professional growth and development of team members by providing guidance, training, and opportunities for advancement.
- Reporting: Assist in preparing and presenting reports to higher management, providing updates on team or department performance.
- Networking and Relationship Building: Establish and maintain positive relationships with colleagues, clients, and stakeholders, particularly in roles that involve external interactions.
- Innovation and Continuous Improvement: Seek opportunities to enhance processes, productivity, and efficiency within the team or department.
- Crisis Management: Assist in
managing and resolving crises and emergencies as they arise.
Requirements:
- HND, B.SC, and any additional certification in Office Management
- Proven experience as project manager
- In-depth understanding of construction procedures and material and project management principles
- Familiarity with quality and health and safety standards
- Good knowledge of MS Office
- Familiarity with construction/ project management software
- Outstanding communication and negotiation skills
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- A team player with leadership abilities
- Communication dynamics
- PMP, Data Analytics, Digital Marketing are added advantage.
- Technical skills -plumbing, Electrical, other
hands on skill are added advantage
