Customer Service Officer
Job summary
A top ten (10) stockbroking firm duly licensed by the Nigerian Securities & Exchange Commission and the Nigerian Exchange Group, as a Securities Trading and Principal Investment Banking Firm, is currently seeking an experienced Customer Service Officer for immediate employment.

Responsibilities:
- Serve as the first point of contact for client inquiries relating to trading accounts, transactions, statements, dividends, and portfolio positions
- Provide timely and accurate responses to client complaints and escalate complex issues appropriately
- Assist clients with account opening documentation, KYC verification, and onboarding processes in line with regulatory requirements and company policies, where required.
- Monitor trade confirmations and ensure clients receive contract notes and transaction updates promptly
- Liaise with Operations, Compliance, Finance, and IT units to resolve trade settlement, trading platform, payments, account opening/update, and other related operational issues.
- Maintain proper documentation and record management in compliance with SEC and NGX regulations
- Ensure strict adherence to internal control procedures and service level standards
Requirements:
- B.Sc/HND in Mathematics, Physics, Statistics, Marketing, Communication, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in customer service within a stockbroking firm, investment firm, or financial institution
- Strong knowledge of capital market operations
- Familiarity with stockbroking operations
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong problem-solving, analytical and conflict resolution abilities
- High level of integrity, confidentiality, and professionalism
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM systems
