Job Summary
Kenkeputa Inc. is a Silicon Valley technology company building Africa’s next-generation consumer and enterprise ecosystem. Through our growing portfolio of products and subsidiaries. We are seeking a Country Manager (Product & Growth) to lead Kenkeputa’s Africa operations — overseeing all product lines, teams, and go-to-market execution.

Responsibilities:
Company Leadership & Culture
- Serve as country head and senior-most executive for Kenkeputa.
- Build, mentor, and retain a high-performance team across product, operations, marketing, finance, and customer success.
- Drive a culture of exceptionalism, speed, and ownership — where deliverables are held to Silicon Valley standards.
- Translate Kenkeputa’s global mission into a clear execution playbook for Africa’s growth markets.
Product Strategy & Innovation
- Oversee the roadmap, growth, and performance of all Kenkeputa products: Tekkas Acrux, Azar (BNPL), ACPO (Certified Pre-Owned), TheMove, TheMove Business, and VendorizeMe.
- Collaborate with the U.S. product and engineering teams to localize features, pricing, and growth strategies.
- Champion a data-driven, customer-first approach to product decisions and A/B testing.
- Identify opportunities for cross-product synergies (e.g., Azar BNPL powering Vendorizeme transactions or TheMove events).
Market Expansion & Growth
- Own and execute the go-to-market strategy across B2C, B2B, and partner channels.
- Design scalable playbooks for sales, partnerships, and user acquisition across multiple verticals.
- Drive country-level P&L, unit economics, and profitability targets.
- Lead new market entry strategies across West and East Africa.
Partnerships & Ecosystem
- Build and manage high-impact relationships with telecoms, device manufacturers, banks, fintechs, event networks, and government regulators.
- Negotiate strategic alliances, distribution agreements, and co-marketing partnerships.
- Collaborate with investors, corporate partners, and ecosystem enablers to accelerate growth.
Operational Excellence
- Design and enforce performance frameworks (OKRs, KPIs, dashboards) for each business unit.
- Ensure tight alignment between marketing, tech, finance, and logistics teams.
- Drive process automation and operational efficiency across the supply chain, sales funnels, and customer support.
What Success Looks Like in 12 Months
- All products (Azar, ACPO, Vendorizeme, TheMove, MySpot) are achieving measurable month-on-month user and revenue growth.
- The Nigerian operation is recognized internally as a model of speed, ownership, and discipline.
- Key partnerships with major telcos, banks, and event platforms are live and monetizing.
- Product/market fit for at least two verticals is solidified, backed by repeatable growth metrics.
- The GM has successfully developed second-line leaders within each department.
Requirements:
- Over 7 years of experience in product, growth, or general management, including leadership roles at a high-growth tech company (e.g., Jumia, M-KOPA, OPay, Andela, Flutterwave, etc.).
- Proven ability to scale multi-product startups or marketplaces in African markets.
- Experience working with cross-functional global teams (preferably with a U.S. or European parent company).
- Deep understanding of African consumer behavior, fintech, e-commerce, or marketplace ecosystems.
- Strong command of data-driven decision-making, financial discipline, and execution management.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and team development skills.
- Exposure to Silicon Valley–style product development or venture-backed environments. (Preferred)
- Experience with AI, BNPL, digital marketplaces, or platform economics. (Preferred)
- MBA or advanced degree in business, engineering, or economics (optional but valued).
