Job Summary

Our client is a leading real estate company with over 10 years of experience in delivering high-quality residential and commercial projects in Nigeria. The COO will oversee all operations, ensuring seamless project delivery, operational efficiency, and alignment with strategic goals. Reporting directly to the General Manager.

Job Description/Requirements

Responsibilities

Operational Leadership:

  • Oversee day-to-day operations across HR, IT, Development & Construction, Finance, Marketing, Customer Service, and Procurement.
  • Drive inter-departmental coordination to meet organizational goals.
  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance operational efficiency.


Project Delivery:

  • Lead project teams to ensure on-time, within-budget, high-quality project completions.
  • Manage relationships with consultants, contractors, developers, and local authorities.


Process Improvement:

  • Analyze and improve workflows and business processes.
  • Lead ERP system (Salesforce) implementation to align with business objectives.


Team Development:

  • Support recruitment efforts to build a high-performing team.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, professional growth, and continuous improvement.


Financial Oversight:

  • Collaborate with the CFO to align operations with financial targets.
  • Monitor budgets and financial performance, ensuring corrective actions as needed.


Quality Assurance:

  • Implement quality control processes to ensure projects meet company standards.
  • Conduct regular audits to maintain high-quality outcomes.


Stakeholder Management:

  • Provide operational updates to shareholders and board members.
  • Resolve challenges affecting operational performance or project delivery.
