Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and independent all-around field representative / affiliate manager who will be responsible for managing our shop affiliate programs and corporate sales for hotels, restaurants, and businesses in Nigeria. Initially, this role will require handling all tasks independently, including outreach, sales, and relationship management website maintenance and input (technical development and online support will be done by our team) but we require local input and expertise from you. As the business grows, you will have the opportunity to build and lead an existing local team to expand operations further. Job Description/Requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Recruit shops, hotels, and event planners to become Union Decor affiliates.
  • Manage and grow a network of affiliates by providing training, promotional materials, and ongoing support.
  • Ensure timely follow-ups and build long-term relationships with affiliates to drive sales.
  • Conduct in-person visits to prospective shops, hotels, and event venues to showcase products and secure partnerships.
  • Present product offerings and close deals with decision-makers (store managers, procurement officers, hotel management).
  • Develop and execute strategies to increase affiliate sales and promote Union Decor products through various channels.
  • Assist in the creation and distribution of marketing materials, including brochures and sales presentations.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team for localized campaigns and events.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to affiliates and clients, responding to inquiries and addressing concerns promptly.
  • In daily contact with the China-based (email) support team for customer communication as needed.
  • Coordinate with local logistics partners to ensure timely delivery of products to affiliates and clients.
  • Handle arriving containers with new stock
  • Track inventory and report to the central team on stock levels and product demand.
  • A fully operational local warehouse is available as well as packing and other support stuff.
  • The candidate should be able to instruct and manage this team.
  • Once operations are stabilized, take on the responsibility of recruiting, training, and leading a team of field representatives to expand operations across Nigeria.
  • Ensure the team is aligned with Union Decor’s values, sales goals, and performance metrics.
  • Track and report on affiliate performance, sales metrics, and progress toward recruitment goals.
  • Provide regular updates to the management team on market trends, affiliate feedback, and new opportunities.


Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in sales, business development, or affiliate marketing, ideally in retail, interior design, or luxury products.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Sales-driven with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
  • Comfortable with technology and using CRM tools for tracking and reporting.
  • Ability to negotiate and build strong relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Fluent in English and local Nigerian languages (a plus).
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Business (or equivalent), Marketing, Sales, or related fields is preferred.
  • Capable of working independently and managing a variety of tasks simultaneously.
