Business Development/sales officer

Responsibilities:

• Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of products and services, including competition offerings. 
• Providing friendly and professional customer service including after-sales care and complaint resolution 
• Negotiate contracts with clients to achieve mutually beneficial agreements. 
• Attending conferences to represent Mikacomic Nigeria Limited and identifying potential new customers 
• Providing Fire and security systems demonstrations to customers, highlighting suitable benefits 
• Managing sales database in the server to schedule follow-ups and share data with colleagues 
• Managing existing accounts to ensure service and sales commitments are met
• Delivering pitches and presentations to clients for new products and services
• Writing detailed and accurate proposals and tenders to submit to clients 
• Seƫng business goals with clients/management and determining milestones and KPIs
• Planning and executing webinar and seminar marketing campaigns using Microsoft Project 
• Contract Bid and Estimate.
• Conduct a Site survey and then provide design and quotation.

Requirements: This role is open to a Graduate Trainee or a candidate with 1-2  years of experience

Trainee:

• Recent graduate with post-NYSC certificate
• Must be intelligent with analytical reasoning and ability to be independent on the job role in a very short time, concise essay writing, quantitative reasoning with figures, and good essay writing.

1 - 2 years of experience:

• The candidate must be able to write a business proposal and conduct business presentations, ability to formulate sales strategies to meet the business needs in the business industry which gear towards improving and growing sales, quantitative and verbal analytical skills to prepare quotations, and able to understand the company product line of business in a very short time. 
• Minimum academic qualification of HND/B.sc in electrical electronics engineering, Quantity surveyor, Marketing, or sales. 
  
• Ability to use Microsoft office (excel, word, PowerPoint, Visio, project) 
• Product demonstration
• Product presentation using PowerPoint 
• Negotiation
• Bid Tender and Contract administration.

Location: Abuja

Remuneration:

• Trainee NGN 60,000
• 1 -2 years of experience NGN 80,000
