Job Summary

The Business Development Strategist is responsible for developing and executing growth strategies that will increase market share, revenue, and profitability for O’leams . This role will work closely with the Managing Director, and other members of the executive team to create and implement plans that support the company’s overall business objectives. The Business Development Strategist will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, conducting market research, building relationships with potential partners, and negotiating and closing deals. This is a high-level strategic position that requires an entrepreneurial mindset, excellent communication and negotiation skills, and the ability to think outside the box.

Job Description/Requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute business development plans in order to achieve assigned targets for new customer acquisition and revenue growth
  • Research and build relationships with potential customers, partners, and investors
  • Create and deliver presentations to internal and external audiences
  • Negotiate and close deals with customers, partners, and investors
  • Manage the sales pipeline and forecast sales activity and revenue
  • Work with cross-functional teams to develop and launch new products and services
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify new business opportunities
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key industry stakeholders
  • Stay up to date on industry trends and developments
  • Attend trade shows, conferences, and other events on behalf of the company
  • Write proposals, business plans, and other marketing materials
  • Perform other duties as assigned

 

Requirements: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field
  • 3+ years experience in business development, sales, or related role
  • Proven track record of achieving quotas and goals
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Strong analytical and research skills
  • Ability to think strategically and develop creative solutions
  • Experience working in the tech industry
  • Knowledge of CRM software, such as Zoho, Salesforce
  • Familiarity with project management tools, such as Asana or Trello
  • Experience with market analysis and forecasting.
