The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the construction and design industries and real estate with a passion for building relationships and driving business growth.

Job Description/Requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities and trends in the construction, interior, and architectural design sectors.
  • Analyse competitors and evaluate industry landscapes to inform strategic planning.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure repeat business and customer satisfaction.
  • Identify and engage potential clients through networking, cold calling, and attending industry events.
  • Collaborate with senior management to develop and implement business development strategies aligned with company goals.
  • Prepare and present strategic plans, proposals, and pitches to prospective clients.
  • Drive sales and revenue growth by securing new projects and expanding the client base.
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements with clients, ensuring mutually beneficial outcomes.
  • Work closely with the design and project management teams to ensure alignment on client needs and project execution.
  • Facilitate effective communication between clients and internal teams to deliver exceptional service.
  • Promote the company’s brand and enhance its reputation in the industry through networking and public relations activities.
  • Represent the company at industry conferences, trade shows, and other events.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Architecture, or a related field with a minimum of Second Class upper.
  • Minimum of 2 years of work experience
  • Proven experience in business development, sales, or a related role within the real estate, construction, or design industry.
  • Strong understanding of construction, interior design, and architectural processes and trends.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.


Location: Lagos Island

Remuneration: NGN 120,000 - 180,000
