Job Description/Requirements

Responsibilities:

Business Growth & Strategy:

  • Develop and execute strategies to expand the company’s presence in the public sector, identifying new business opportunities with government agencies.
  • Research and analyze public sector trends, policies, and procurement processes to create competitive business strategies.
  • Identify and pursue tendering and bidding opportunities, ensuring compliance with government procurement regulations.


Stakeholder Engagement & Relationship Management:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers in government ministries, agencies, and regulatory bodies.
  • Represent the company at public sector meetings, forums, and networking events to enhance visibility and credibility.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., sales, legal, finance) to develop proposals and presentations tailored to public sector clients.


Contract & Proposal Management:

  • Lead the preparation and submission of bids, proposals, and tender documents for government contracts.
  • Negotiate contract terms, pricing, and service agreements to secure profitable deals.
  • Ensure adherence to all regulatory and compliance requirements in public sector transactions.


Performance Monitoring & Reporting:

  • Track and report key performance metrics related to public sector business development efforts.
  • Provide regular updates on market trends, competitive analysis, and revenue growth from public sector engagements.
  • Identify risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure smooth execution of government contracts.


Requirements:

  • 5 years experience
  • Degree in a related field
