Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute strategic plans to grow the client base and market share in freight forwarding and logistics services.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through networking, industry research, and targeted outreach.
- Maintain strong relationships with existing clients and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Prepare and present business proposals, quotes, and presentations to potential clients.
- Collaborate with operations and customer service teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to develop tailored solutions.
- Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
- Provide regular reports and updates to senior management.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Logistics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years experience in business development within the logistics, freight forwarding, or transportation industry.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
- Proficient in MS Office and CRM tools.
- Strong knowledge of Lagos market and logistics industry dynamics.
