Business Development Manager

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the planning and execution of market development programs for the certification of skills.
• Grow a vibrant network of stakeholders through the design and implementation of public advocacy and consumer education initiatives in realizing growth in training enrolment and skills assessment.
• Build market confidence for certified professionals and the scheme.
• Seek avenues and attract donor funding for capacity development, technical assistance, and sponsorship of its activities
• Manage external relationships 
• Promote service and brand awareness, education, and visibility for key industry events.

Requirements:

• Minimum academic qualification of BSc. in Engineering, Marketing, Management, or any of the social sciences.
• Ability to write winning proposals.
• Experience in fundraising and knowledge of grant-making institutions and nuances.
• Good knowledge of the policy environment and development initiatives in the sector.
• Must be able to communicate market ideas and concepts with conviction.
• Organizational planning and problem-solving skills.  
• Proficient knowledge of marketing principles and tools and marketing program evaluation
