Job Summary
Our client seeks to hire a suitable candidate to fill this position. A Business Development Manager is a professional who is responsible for the growth of the Company. The candidate leads and works with the sales team to source for and develop new businesses for the company, while constantly maintaining cordial relationships with existing customers, generating mutually beneficial proposals, negotiating contract terms, and communicating effectively with stakeholders. We are looking for an ambitious and energetic Business Development Manager to help us expand our clientele. The candidate will be at the front of the company and will have the dedication to create and apply an effective sales strategy. The goal is to drive sustainable financial growth by boosting sales and forging strong relationships with clients.

Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Developing a business development strategy focused on financial gain
- Arranging business development meetings with prospective clients
- Develop a growth strategy focused both on financial gain and customer satisfaction
- Conduct research to identify new markets and customer needs
- Promote the company’s products/services addressing or predicting clients’ objectives
- Prepare sales contracts ensuring adherence to law-established rules and guidelines
- Keep records of sales, revenue, invoices, etc.
- Provide trustworthy feedback and after-sales support
- Build long-term relationships with new and existing customers
- Develop entry-level staff into valuable salespeople
Requirements:
- This position is preferably open to a female candidate
- HND/BSc/BA in marketing, business administration, mass communication, sales, or relevant field
- Minimum 5 years of proven working experience as a business development manager, sales executive, or a relevant role
- Proven sales track record
- Experience in customer service and support
- Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software (e.g. Salesforce)
- Proficiency in English
- Market and Product Knowledge
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to build rapport with excellent interpersonal skills
- Time management and planning skills

Remuneration: NGN 250,000 - 400,000 monthly, depending on years of experience and qualifications
