Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and result-oriented Business Development Manager to join the team for a 3-month contract. The primary focus of this role will be to build and establish strong partnerships with business owners and PUDO (Pick Up and Drop Off) locations, with a goal to secure at least 15 business owners and 15 PUDO locations.

Job Description/Requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Identify and reach out to potential business owners and PUDO locations for partnership opportunities.
  • Lead the negotiation process to establish mutually beneficial agreements.
  • Ensure that 15 business owners and 15 PUDO locations are successfully onboarded by the end of the contract.
  • Maintain strong relationships with existing and potential partners to ensure long-term collaboration.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all business development inquiries and needs.
  • Maintain detailed records of all partnership discussions, agreements, and potential leads.
  • Provide weekly progress reports on outreach efforts and success rates.
  • Continuously monitor market trends to identify new opportunities for partnership expansion.
  • Collect and report feedback from partners to identify areas for improvement.
  • Represent the company in a professional manner during all external meetings, negotiations, and presentations.


Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3-5 years in business development, sales, or partnerships, preferably in the logistics, retail, or tech industries.
  • Proven track record of successfully closing deals and onboarding new partners.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
  • Ability to build and nurture relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Goal-driven with a strong focus on achieving measurable results.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM tools is a plus.
  • Self-starter with excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Proactive, results-oriented, and able to work independently.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.


Key Deliverables by End of Contract:

  • Confirmed onboarding of 15 business owners.
  • All partnership agreements fully executed and documented.
  • Confirmed onboarding of 15 PUDO locations.
  • Partnership agreements finalized and documentation in place.


Additional Information:

  • The Business Development Manager will be expected to engage with local and national business owners and PUDO locations, depending on the target markets.
  • The role requires flexibility and may involve travel to meet with potential partners in different locations.
  • The contract will be evaluated upon completion, with the possibility of an extension or full-time employment based on performance.
