Job Summary

The Business Development Intern will support the business development team in identifying growth opportunities, conducting market research, and developing client relationships. This role offers hands-on experience in sales, marketing, and business strategy, providing the intern with valuable insights into how companies expand and build client base.

Job Description/Requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Support the business development team in identifying potential clients and business opportunities.
  • Develop and execute strategies to achieve business growth and expansion.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and industry contacts.
  • Maintain a pipeline of prospective clients and follow up to close deals.
  • Support in developing business proposals, presentations, and sales pitches to potential clients.
  • Generate leads through cold calling, networking, attending events, and other methods.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (marketing, product development, customer success) to ensure alignment in strategy and execution.
  • Work closely with the finance and legal teams to finalize contracts, terms of agreements, and pricing.
  • Regularly review sales pipeline and follow up on business leads to ensure high conversion rates.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration Marketing or a related field (preferred).
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of proven experience in business development sales or related roles preferably in the tech or IT sector
  • Experience in building and nurturing client relationships
  • Demonstrated ability to close deals and meet sales targets
  • Ability to identify business opportunities and develop strategic plans to capitalize on them
  • Knowledge of CRM software and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Proactive self-motivated culture and the willingness to learn.
