Job Summary

Our Organisation is seeking a Travel Administrative Assistant to support the Travel team, assisting with various administrative tasks for office personnel.

Job Description/Requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for maintaining physical and virtual document filing systems.
  • Assist other teams as needed.
  • Research and select suitable destinations, accommodations, flights, transportation options, and other travel needs
  • Create detailed travel itineraries tailored to the employer’s needs and budget
  • Organize all necessary travel documents, including tickets, passports, visas, and other paperwork
  • Ensure all necessary travel arrangements are made in time and according to budget
  • Handle reservations for activities such as tours, events, or restaurant bookings
  • Assist with any additional travel needs, such as currency exchange or insurance
  • Manage the employer’s personal and business needs while travelling
  • Support the travel team to ensure that all travel arrangements and documents processes are compliant with the client


Requirements:

  • Minimum academic qualification of a Bachelor’s degree in hospitality management, travel, and tourism, or a related field
  • Minimum of 1-3 years working experience as a travel assistant or a similar role
  • Strong knowledge of the travel industry
  • Excellent organizational and planning skills
  • Ability to multitask and manage time
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Proficient knowledge of online booking tools and search engines
  • Familiarity with visa requirements and travel regulations
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and coordinate tasks simultaneously
  • Strong communication (verbal & written) and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite like Excel, Word, Outlook
  • Ability to work independently with minimal oversight
  • Capability to remain organized and self-motivated
  • Ability to effectively collaborate with other team members
  • Ability to travel independently, including overnight stays
