Job Summary
MEP Insights Ltd, an MEP Engineering Contracting Company with consulting experience, is looking for an Executive Assistant to join the company, with the main focus being relationship management. The Executive Assistant serves as the executive’s primary liaison for maintaining and deepening relationships with key internal and external stakeholders. This role centres on strategic relationship management, ensuring that communication, follow-ups and interactions between the executive and stakeholders are thoughtful, consistent, and effective. The ideal candidate is personable, emotionally intelligent, and proactive,someone who can build trust, manage expectation and strengthen the executive’s network through authentic engagement.

Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
Relationship Coordination & Engagement:
- Serve as the executive’s representative in managing communication and engagement with stakeholders (clients, partners, investors, board members, collaborators, etc.).
- Maintain and update a comprehensive relationship database, tracking touchpoints, follow-ups and commitments.
- Anticipate and plan opportunities for engagement, such as check-ins, appreciation messages and informal relationship touchpoints.
- Coordinate introductions, connections and meetings that strengthen the executive’s network.
Communication & Follow-Up:
- Draft and manage personalised correspondence to maintain consistent and meaningful communication with stakeholders.
- Ensure timely responses and follow-ups to inquiries, invitations and meeting outcomes.
- Prepare relationship summaries or briefings for the executive before meetings or events, highlighting key history, preferences and potential discussion points.
- Maintain a professional and personable communication tone that reflects the executive’s voice and organisational culture.
Relationship Tracking & Intelligence:
- Develop and maintain systems to monitor the health and status of key relationships.
- Identify trends, opportunities or risks in stakeholder relationships and provide insights or recommendations to the executive.
- Keep detailed records of interactions, preferences and relevant background information.
- Support the executive in prioritising relationship management efforts based on strategic importance.
Representation & Coordination:
- Attend select meetings or events on behalf of the executive when appropriate, ensuring presence and follow-up continuity.
- Liaise with internal teams to ensure consistent stakeholder experience and alignment in external communications.
- Maintain a high standard of professionalism, confidentiality and diplomacy in all interactions.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Business, Public Relations or a related field.
- At least 1 year of experience in stakeholder relations, executive support, client relationship management or a similar role.
- Exceptional interpersonal, listening and written communication skills.
- Proven ability to build trust-based relationships across diverse stakeholder groups.
- Strong organisational and follow-up abilities.
- Discretion, professionalism, and emotional intelligence.
- Proficiency with CRM or relationship management tools
Remuneration: NGN 200,000 - 250,000
