Office Assistant
Job summary
We are seeking a smart, organised, and proactive Office Assistant with at least 1 year of relevant experience. The successful candidate will provide administrative and operational support to ensure the smooth running of the office on a daily basis. This role is ideal for a young professional who is detail-oriented, responsible, and capable of managing multiple tasks efficiently.

Responsibilities:
- Manage and monitor all official company email accounts daily, escalate important matters, and provide a summarised report to the Manager.
- Receive, sort, and distribute incoming correspondence (emails, letters, and courier deliveries).
- Maintain proper filing systems (physical and electronic) to ensure easy retrieval of documents.
- Ensure timely purchase and restocking of office supplies, consumables, and stationery.
- Monitor inventory levels and prepare periodic stock reports.
- Oversee maintenance of office facilities, equipment, and utilities; promptly report faults and coordinate repairs.
- Ensure the office environment is clean, organised, and professional at all times.
- Assist in scheduling meetings, preparing meeting rooms, and providing administrative support during meetings.
- Maintain records of vendors, service providers, and maintenance schedules.
- Support basic bookkeeping tasks such as processing petty cash, tracking expenses, and preparing simple expense reports.
- Assist in preparing documents, reports, and presentations as required.
- Liaise with external service providers, suppliers, and utility companies when necessary.
- Provide general administrative and clerical support to management and staff.
- Perform other administrative duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Minimum of OND/HND/Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Accounting, or related discipline.
- At least 1 year of relevant experience in an administrative or office support role (Preferred).
- Basic knowledge of office administration procedures.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Good time-management and multitasking abilities.
- Ability to take initiative and work with minimal supervision.
- Professionalism and integrity.
- Good interpersonal skills and a positive attitude.
- Ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.
Remuneration: NGN 100,000 - 120,000 Monthly
