Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Translate written documents from English to Chinese and Chinese to English with high accuracy
- Interpret during meetings, conferences, and business negotiations when required
- Proofread and edit translated materials for clarity, coherence, and cultural appropriateness
- Maintain terminology databases and translation memories
- Ensure consistency in translations and terminology across all documents
- Stay updated with language developments in both English and Chinese
Requirements:
- Native or near-native proficiency in both English and Chinese
- Bachelor's degree in related field
- Minimum 2 years of professional translation experience
- Excellent communication skills and cultural awareness
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
- Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure
- Proficiency in translation software and tools
- Knowledge of business terminology preferred
