Security Personnel

Responsiblities:

• Patrol the premises regularly to ensure safety and prevent unauthorized access or suspicious activity.
• Monitor and control entry and exit points for staff, visitors, and vehicles.
• Ensure all security systems, such as CCTV, alarms, and access controls, are functioning properly.
• Inspect buildings, equipment, and access points to ensure compliance with security procedures.
• Respond promptly to alarms, disturbances, or emergency situations and escalate issues when necessary.
• Maintain accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and irregularities such as equipment or property damage, theft, or unusual occurrences.
• Enforce company rules, regulations, and safety procedures.
• Escort visitors or employees when required to ensure safety.
• Assist in emergency response procedures, including evacuation drills or first aid (if trained).
• Report security breaches, safety hazards, or maintenance issues to the appropriate departments.

Requirements:

• Minimum of an SSCE certification.
• Proven work experience as a security guard or similar position is preferred.
• Completion of security training and relevant certifications is an advantage.
• Vigilant, attentive, and detail-oriented.
• Ability to remain calm and act responsibly in stressful situations.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Physically fit and able to stand or patrol for extended periods.
• Basic knowledge of first aid and emergency procedures.
• Integrity and professionalism.
• May be required to work in shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Exposure to outdoor conditions and long hours standing or walking.
• Uniform and identification must be worn at all times while on duty.
