Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Team Leadership: Supervise, train, and motivate salon staff, including hairstylists, estheticians, and support staff.
- Customer Service: Ensure exceptional customer service by greeting clients, managing appointments, and addressing client inquiries and concerns.
- Operations: Oversee daily salon operations, including inventory management, scheduling, and cash handling.
- Quality Assurance: Maintain high standards of service quality, cleanliness, and hygiene.
- Marketing: Develop and execute marketing strategies to attract new clients and retain existing ones.
- Financial Management: Manage salon finances, including budgeting, expense control, and revenue generation.
- Inventory Control: Monitor and order salon supplies, products, and equipment as needed.
- Compliance: Ensure the salon complies with all relevant health, safety, and licensing regulations.
- Conflict Resolution: Address and resolve staff or client conflicts and issues in a professional manner.
- Education and Trends: Stay informed about industry trends, new techniques, and products to provide cutting-edge services.
- Performance Tracking: Monitor staff performance and provide feedback and training as necessary.
- Salon Maintenance: Oversee the maintenance and cleanliness of the salon and equipment.
- Reporting: Provide regular reports on salon performance and financial results to salon ownership or management.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Salon Manager or in a similar role within the beauty industry.
- Cosmetology or beauty industry license/certification is a plus.
- Strong leadership and management skills.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Knowledge of salon software and booking systems.
- Business acumen and financial management skills.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
- Creative and innovative mindset.
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask effectively.
