Job Summary

The Production Analyst will be responsible for tracking and analyzing raw material usage, production outputs, and operational efficiency across our bakery, gelato, hot kitchen, and retail operations. The role involves daily reporting, cost analysis, wastage monitoring, and collaborating with production teams to optimize processes and reduce costs.

Job Description/Requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Collect, compile, and analyse daily production data for all departments (Gelato, Bakery,  Kitchen, and Storefront). 
  • Monitor raw material usage and reconcile against finished goods produced.
  • Calculate production costs per unit, including material, labour, energy, and overheads. 
  • Identify variances in production yields, wastage, and consumption; provide actionable insights. 
  • Develop and maintain costing formulas that adjust for foreign exchange rates, freight,  and material cost fluctuations. 
  • Conduct spot checks, stock audits, and monthly stock reconciliations. 
  • Collaborate with procurement, inventory, and finance teams to ensure data accuracy and process compliance. 
  • Plan daily and weekly production schedules to optimise resources and minimise waste.
  • Track energy consumption and propose efficiency improvements. 
  • Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly production analysis reports to management. 
  • Recommend process improvements, SOP updates, and cost-saving initiatives. 
  • Support quarterly audits with external consultants to enhance costing accuracy and operational SOPs. 


Requirements: 

  • B.Sc./HND in Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, Food Science,  Industrial Engineering, or related fields.
  • Minimum of 1-3 years’ experience in production analysis, cost control, or related role  (preferably in Food & Beverage or FMCG sector). 
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP,  formulas). 
  • Experience with ERP/Inventory Management systems is an advantage. 
  • Good understanding of production processes, inventory management, and cost accounting. 
  • Ability to work with large data sets, attention to detail, and accuracy.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills. 
  • Problem-solving mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.

Remuneration: NGN 100,000 - 120,000 Monthly
