Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities
- Identify and onboard high-quality December events across Nigeria for listing on DettyDecember.xyz.
- Secure paid placements from brands, promoters, nightlife venues, and lifestyle partners.
- Build relationships with event organizers, sponsors, ticketing platforms, and influencers to drive engagement.
- Target Nigerians abroad to drive ticket and merchandise sales through tailored outreach and partnerships.
- Create revenue-generating opportunities through sponsorships, media collaborations, and affiliate partnerships.
- Track KPIs, share performance updates with VNVI Services and the client, and collaborate with internal content/design teams.
Requirements:
- 3+ years in business development, sales, partnerships, or events marketing
- Strong network in Nigeria’s entertainment, event, or lifestyle industries
- Ability to prospect, pitch, and close partnerships independently
- Experience working with diaspora-focused campaigns or audiences is a plus
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Self-starter with strong organizational skills and a growth mindset
- Experience with event ticketing or merchandise sales
- Familiarity with platforms like Eventbrite, Tix, Flutterwave Store, Shopify, etc.
- Social media marketing or influencer management experience
Compensation:
- Base retainer plus performance-based commission
- Opportunity for long-term growth or profit-sharing based on results
