- Oversee daily operations of all departments and ensure smooth coordination between all units.
- Monitor staff performance and enforce discipline and conflict resolution.
- Monitor room occupancy and daily sales by working closely with the accountant to track financial performance.
- Guest experience management.
- Ensure all rooms are in good condition and ensure maintenance issues are fixed promptly.
- Approve and track purchases. Monitor usage of supplies in all departments.
- Handle emergency situations and ensure compliance with safety procedures.
- Identify weak areas in the operations of the hotel and introduce better systems and controls.
- Ensure new staff are properly onboarded and do constant staff training and development.
- Minimum of an HND in hospitality management, business administration, or hotel & tourism management.
- A minimum of 3-4 years in hotel operations in a supervisory/management role and versatile knowledge in all departments of a hotel.
- Strong understanding of daily hotel operations, guest service standards, booking/reservation systems, and ability to supervise ALL departments.
- Most have leadership and management skills as well as financial and administrative skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).
- Must have a strong leadership presence, good communication and interpersonal skills, and be professional.
- Must be groomed at all times, smart, proactive, and result-driven.
- High level of integrity and accountability.
- Ability to handle pressure, direct, and accommodate different types of people.
- Willing to work long hours when needed, be on call for emergencies, and work weekends and public holidays.
Remuneration: NGN 250,000 Gross Monthly
