Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Plan, schedule, and supervise all maintenance activities (electrical, mechanical, sanitation).
- Liaise with and manage external vendors and service providers.
- Ensure timely and cost-effective repairs and maintenance across the school.
- Negotiate service contracts and rates in the best interest of the school.
- Monitor the condition of facilities and coordinate preventive maintenance.
- Maintain records of repairs, maintenance schedules, and service agreements.
Requirements:
- Technical background in electrical or mechanical engineering.
- Proven experience in facilities or maintenance management.
- Strong vendor negotiation and coordination skills.
- High level of integrity and commitment to service excellence.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational abilities.
- Must reside in Maiduguri or be willing to relocate.
