Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Research and pitch original story ideas across various beats such as politics, business, culture, crime, health, sports, etc.
- Conduct interviews, attend press events, and gather information from credible sources.
- Write clear, concise, and engaging news articles, features, and investigative reports.
- Verify facts, ensure accuracy, and uphold journalistic integrity and ethics.
- Collaborate with editors, photographers, and digital teams to develop multimedia content.
- Meet strict deadlines while handling breaking news and multiple assignments.
- Maintain strong networks of contacts and stay up-to-date on current events and trends.
- Use content management systems (CMS) and social media tools to publish and promote stories.
Requirements:
- Minimum of degree
- Minimum of 1 year experience
- Must be ready to work six days in a week
