Job Summary
We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Inventory Officer to manage material stocks and store operations at our real estate project sites. The ideal candidate will be responsible for receiving, storing, issuing materials, and ensuring that the inventory system is accurate and up-to-date. The role is critical for maintaining the efficiency of construction operations and ensuring zero delays due to material shortages.

Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Receive, inspect, and record deliveries of materials and equipment to ensure they meet quality and quantity specifications.
- Organize and maintain inventory in an orderly and accessible manner at site stores.
- Maintain up-to-date records of all stock transactions (issuance, returns, transfers, losses, and damages).
- Monitor stock levels regularly and initiate timely reorder requests to avoid material shortages.
- Tag and label inventory accurately for easy identification and retrieval.
- Ensure secure storage and handling of all materials and tools.
- Implement and enforce safety and cleanliness standards in the store area.
- Coordinate with site engineers, procurement, and project managers to track and fulfill material requests.
- Conduct periodic stock counts and reconciliation against physical inventory.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly inventory reports for internal tracking and audit purposes.
- Ensure compliance with company inventory control policies and procedures.
- Maintain appropriate documentation for incoming and outgoing materials.
- Report discrepancies, damages, or thefts promptly to supervisors.
Requirements:
- Minimum of an OND/HND/Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- 2–4 years of experience in inventory or storekeeping, preferably within the real estate or construction industry.
- Proficiency in inventory management systems, stock-taking procedures, and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Good numerical and record-keeping ability.
- Physical ability to handle materials and work in a site environment.
- High level of integrity, reliability, and attention to detail.
- Ability to work under pressure and with minimal supervision.
