Housekeeper
Job summary
We seek to hire a suitable housekeeper ( room steward) to join our team.
Job descriptions & requirements
- Clean and prepare guest rooms to standard.
- Ensure rooms are fully ready before releasing to reception.
- Replacement of supplies (toiletries, towels, linens, and cleaning supplies).
- Laundry and linen handling.
- Ensuring immediate reporting of faulty issues that need maintenance.
- Report all lost and found items and ensure proper documentation.
- Respond quickly to guests' requests and direct complaints or major requests to reception.
- Maintain professional and high hygiene standards at all times.
- A minimum of an SSCE certificate (WAEC, NECO, or GCE) is required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years’ experience in hotel housekeeping or cleaning services.
- Basic literacy and ability to communicate in the English language.
- Ability to clean and prepare guest rooms to hotel standards.
- Knowledge of the use of chemicals and house cleaning equipment.
- Physically fit and strong, neat and well-groomed.
- Honest and trustworthy to stay around guest properties.
- Willing to work shifts, weekends and public holidays.
Remuneration: NGN: 70,000 Monthly Gross
