Job Description/Requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Provide leadership and guidance to the operations team, fostering a positive work environment and promoting teamwork.
  • Analyze existing operational processes and identify opportunities for improvement, implementing initiatives to enhance productivity, quality, and customer satisfaction.
  • Work closely with the finance department to develop and manage the operations budget, monitor expenses, and ensure efficient resource allocation.
  • Oversee resource management, including personnel, equipment, and facilities, to meet operational requirements and support the professional development of team members.
  • Define key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement performance tracking systems to measure progress and identify areas for improvement.
  • Foster effective communication and collaboration with other departments, aligning operational activities with organizational objectives.
  • Evaluate and select vendors, negotiate contracts, and manage vendor relationships to ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
  • Conduct quality control inspections to maintain high standards of product quality.
  • Collaborate with senior management to develop and implement strategic plans, goals, and objectives for business operations.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and drive initiatives for continuous improvement and operational effectiveness.


Requirements:

  • HND/BSc in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in a similar role, demonstrating strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with a focus on process improvement.
  • Strong budgeting and financial management skills.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Familiarity with vendor management and quality control processes.
  • Strategic thinking and the ability to drive operational excellence.
  • Knowledge of industry best practices and emerging technologies relevant to business operations.
