Taking on the role a chef in Nigeria’s first electric mobile food truck at 40B OBA DOSUMU CLOSE IKEJA GRA. Our company @12inchbaguette specialises in baguette sandwiches, salads, tacos, cheese melts, parfaits and healthy drinks.
- Minimum Qualification: Diploma
- Experience Level: Mid level
- Experience Length: 3 years
Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Making all the meals
- Approving and polishing dishes before they leave the kitchen
- Monitor kitchen activities and keep inventory
- Oversee the work of other kitchen staff
- Update management on daily kitchen activities
- Ensure food preparation areas are clean and hygienic
- Foster a respectful and cooperative environment among staff
Requirements:
- Minimum academic qualification of a Diploma
- Minimum of 3 years of work experience
- Must be hardworking and ready to stand for hours
- Must be independent and of sound mind
- Willing to learn and explore all areas of food
- Open to more roles in the future
- Must have experience in the food industry
- Proficient in English
- Have great leadership skills
- Up to date with culinary Trends
- Familiar with various types of cuisines
- Ability to listen and learn fast
- Understand the importance of kitchen hygiene and safety
- Must know basic culinary skills
- Must have good stamina
- Must be of sound mind and sound health
- Must be willing and ready to unlearn and relearn
- Must be able to take corrections
- Must be looking at long-term work
Work Schedule:
- Monday to Friday - 8:30 am to 9:00 pm
- Saturdays - 9:30 am to 9:00 pm
- Sunday - 11:30 am to 9:00 pm
- 2 off days during the Weekend
