Job Summary

AGRIFA International Ltd, an agribusiness company operating in Ogun State, is looking for an experienced administrative officer to assist the general manager in leading the company’s operations. The successful candidate must have a strong management, finance and accounting background and prior experience in manufacturing, preferably food processing.

Job Description/Requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and report on daily operations to achieve stated performance objectives
  • Help design the operating strategy and set achievable operational goals for growth
  • Contribute to sales efforts – both domestic and international – by identifying prospecting avenues
  • Oversee the staff, establish and control budgets, and optimize expenses to bolster profitability
  • Spearhead the management of relationships with key external stakeholders – government and regulatory agencies
  • Oversee employee recruitment, training, daily productivity, and professional development
  • Drive the obtention of all certifications (ISO, FDA, USDA) necessary for operations and manage all regulatory processes required to optimally export our products
  • Devise and implement an operating system centered on the use of cloud computing to minimize the use of paper and effectively centralize the soft copies
  • Produce periodic reports – weekly, monthly, and quarterly – describing the operating performance and financial health of the company for upper management and the Board
  • Maintain accurate records – both physical and electronic


Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role with a demonstrated track record of leadership, hard work and success
  • Must possess strong analytical skills, oral and written communication skills, and a proven ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks
  • Strong problem-solving skills and able to work independently
  • Prior experience in a similar executive support role is preferred
  • B.Sc/BA in Business or relevant field; MSc/MA is a plus
  • Solid and verifiable references


Location: Sagamu, Ogun State
